About Ver Sacrum Wines

Ver Sacrum Wines is a boutique winery located in Mendoza, Argentina. The winery was founded in 2012 by a group of friends with a passion for wine and a desire to create exceptional wines that represent the unique terroir of the region.

Despite its age, with the manor house dating back to around 1865, this winery is thoroughly modern, employing low-intervention techniques and using Mediterranean grape varieties such as Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache, Mencía, and Nebbiolo – all of which are not commonly found in Argentina.

The name Ver Sacrum is Latin for “Sacred Spring”, and is a reference to the ancient Roman tradition of dedicating the first fruits of the season to the gods. This philosophy is reflected in the winery’s commitment to producing wines of the highest quality, using only the best grapes from carefully selected vineyards.

The winemaking process at Ver Sacrum is meticulous and hands-on, with a focus on minimal intervention and natural fermentation. The wines are aged in French oak barrels for up to 18 months, resulting in wines that are elegant, complex, and expressive of the unique terroir of Mendoza.

Ver Sacrum’s wines have received numerous accolades and awards, both nationally and internationally, for their outstanding quality and distinctiveness. The winery is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, and strives to minimize its impact on the environment.

The restaurant is a gastronomic destination in its own right, offering a warm welcome, intimate atmosphere, an abundance of wines, and beautifully presented, home-grown, and seasonal cuisine.

Our Work

From the moment you enter this beautiful, secluded winery you’re on a journey, of art, history, incredible food and paired wines. As you tour the house with winery owner and all round awesome guy Eduardo Soler, you learn about a history you never knew existed, discovering 200 year old cookbooks from which the menu is comprised, as well as notes and drawings outlining the wineries long history producing grapes and wines that didn’t quite fit in with traditional winemaking in Mendoza, Argentina.

And that is Ver Sacrum Wines ethos, to continue to do something completely different than anyone else at the moment.

We were invited to experience one of their intimate dinner and wine evenings, where a Michelin Star chef cooks local ingredients to perfection and Eduardo selects some of their finest wines to pair your food with.

Eduardo wanted to create social media content for an influencer collaboration with Christina Vogue (2 Girls 1 Backpack on Instagram) that showcased some of their absolutaly declicios food and wine. How could we ever say no?
